Picking Up Again!

It has been ages since i last read a Korean book ( nah i don’t mean novel-kind of book, just a normal reading-practice type LOL).

I have missed my chance to register for the coming (Opps, it’s already over) Topik Test.

I bought few Korean grammar books and are all piling up there with dust.

It’s time for me to on the study mode again! I like learning it not for the sake of achieving anything but just purely because i like it! I like speaking in Korean and for me, learning a country language it’s like the best way to know, understand and experience the country’s culture.

It’s time for me to brush up my Korean again …these days i only watch Korean drama and frankly speaking it doesn’t really help because i watch it with sub. LOL

Cafe The Air – 카페디에어

This was in my list few years back then, but till now i still have not got a chance to try it. I wonder why i didn’t notice it during my stay in Hongdae!

It’s in the list because of their green tea bingsoo, their generous amount of green tea ice cream on top and compliment the bingsoo with some healthy crunchy nuts! It costs 12,000 won, it’s little bit over for me but i still think it worth a visit. There are only 3 choices for bingsoo : green tea, mango and milk. Mango surely is the most popular one after green tea.

The decor is cozy, i like the ambiance and the space are huge and comfortable. Cafe The Air serve main dishes ( they have set lunch but make sure you don’t get too full before their bingsoo!)

Direction :

It’s located between exit 1/9 of Hongdae station and Exit 2/3 of HapJeong station. I still wonder i did not notice this place because i surely pass by this area at least hundred times…

Jeju food hunt – 기억나는 집

kiyok3

Literally means a place that you would remember.. When i think about this place, the only thing came into my mind is ABALONE!

As i said, i am not a seafood lover but if the seafood is fresh, abundant and yummy… why not?!

This place is located at Jeju and they only serve 2 dishes 해물탕(haemul tang : seafood soup) and 갈치조림 (kalchijorim : braised hairtail). I might not go there because the price is kinda pricy for me but that’s what a bowl of seafood ( i mean a full bowl of abalone) would cost. Imagine how delicious is it when you add on ramyeon on the soup base when it is full with the goodness of abalone, octopus, squid……. That’s even more killing me than the abalone!
